Wendy is very patient with owners and dogs. My French Bulldog and I have attended 2 beginners courses and now we go to dog agility, which he loves. I would recommend every dog tries agility, even if they have short legs!! It is great for bonding, getting your dog to follow directions and they have a great time

I have known Wendy TOWE of the Dog Academy since 2013 when with my new puppy (Ollie) started his basic training. Ollie wasn’t my first dog and I thought that I had some basic knowledge re basic training. Well I was wrong. With infinite patience and clear guidance I learnt a huge amount of dog training methods and dog behaviours. After a couple of years at basic training of the dog and me progressed to the advanced group. Both myself and Ollie continued to gain new skills and acceptable dog behaviours. When Ollie stared to show aggression toward male dogs he had 3 days at boot camp with Wendy. With her extensive knowledge in canine behaviours she quickly found a method that meant that we could manage Ollie’s behaviour. Covid stopped all classes but Wendy was only a phone call away for advise. I recently attended a refresher session with Wendy. Ollie had t forgot all his training and neither did I. There was no aggression when walking near Wendy’s male GSD.
I and Ollie have learnt so much with Wendy of the Dog Academy. She is exceedingly knowledgeable, very patient & supportive. On a personal level I have gained a wonderful friend

Wendy gave agility and learning lessons/trainings obedience to our two Belgian Shepherds with grace, wisdom and expertise beyond compare. Without Wendy we would never enjoyed our dogs this much, because thanks to her they are well behaved, trained and they learned agility the way it should be taught!

Highly recommended! I adopted Zipi (Shitzu/Yorkie mix) from a rescue centre in Los Barrios in 2016. He was 8 months old, and had no training at all. We started classes with Wendy Towe's school in Velez and progressed quickly from beginners to advanced obedience. Since then we have attended Wendy's agility group in Venta Alto for the past 2 seasons. Wendy combines her formidable knowledge of dog behaviour with a warm character and sense of humour. We became good friends and since moving back to Switzerland we miss her and the agility group. (Zipi was totally in love with her!) We continue to attend an agility group here, Zipi has developed into a healthy, happy, fun loving dog and is very obedient... (sometimes 😉

Cannot recommend Wendy as a dog trainer highly enough, would give her 10 stars if we could. We started taking our very reactive Dalmation Abigail to her classes just to get her used to being around other dogs. We progressed so well we ended up in the advanced class! Never thought we would have so much control over our dog and she loves showing off all her new skills. We then adopted a rescue Dalmation, Lola. Lola had been badly treated and used for breeding and was nervous of so many things. She didn't like to give eye contact and lacked confidence. With Wendy's help and regular classes she is now a very happy, confident dog. Thank you Wendy ( & Allen ) for all your help over the years and looking forward to more classes in the near future.

Wendy is “simply the best”! She has helped me with my own 4 dogs and several rescue dogs. A wonderful way to work with your dogs. Bobo (and

Can't thank Wendy enough for her help with my rescue pup Ellie. She was so nervous of everything and didn't want to go outside even for a walk.
Wendy was amazing, very kind and welcoming. She understood exactly how I felt and how best to help Ellie over come her fear of the outdoors.
Today Ellie is transformed into a very happy dog who loves to go for long walks.
