Katie was my instructor and I felt totally at ease with her. She kept things as simple as possible so I could remember and develop each lesson. Communication was fantastic over the phone and in person, and the best of efforts was made to ensure I got the time I needed in the car. Could not have passed without her!

I highly recommend Katie as a driving instructor! From the very first lesson, she made me feel completely at ease behind the wheel. I was quite nervous when I started, but Katie’s calm and supportive teaching style really helped me build my confidence with each session. She explains everything clearly, is incredibly patient, and never made me feel pressured. Instead, she created a comfortable and encouraging environment where I felt safe to learn and improve. I had a lesson with Terry and he was amazing. I passed my test yesterday. He was super adaptive and attentive to my needs as we just had one refresher lesson so that I could learn roads in Exeter. Communication with South West was also good but not perfect; there was a mix up between Terry and South West on how much I was suppose to pay — and sorting this out took some time out of my lesson, you almost feel the money trickling away when you’ve paid so much! Terry did offer for us to go over time and I’m sure he would’ve done that if I asked. Terry was probably the best instructor I’ve ever had. A top guy and I’m very grateful for how much he taught me and how at ease he made me feel. Thank you.

I passed on my first attempt with Joe Cameron. He is an amazing teacher and simplified driving for me. Always on time and always in a good mood, he made sure that each lesson was a good and valuable experience. I’m very grateful to Joe for equipping me with skills to be a confident and safe driver on the road. 10/10 - whole heartedly recommend Joe to learn how to drive!

Had a really great time learning with FDSW being taught by Joe! From the first lesson I always felt comfortable in the car and even when I made mistakes he was always encouraging. He had a good sense of when to up the challenge and when to give me space to figure out a problem myself. I could really feel myself improving and becoming more independent each week. If anyone is looking to learn to drive in and around Exeter I would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed learning with Will as he was always patient, friendly and made me feel at ease - which can be difficult when learning to drive!
